Three-phase Hermetically Sealed Oil-immersed Distribution Transformer

The three-phase hermetically sealed oil-immersed distribution transformer could be classified into three series which are S9, S11 and S13. They have different properties and application ranges as demonstrated below.

Features
1. The S9 series has a wide power range of 6.3-2500kVA, and it fits for 10KV power transmission and distribution system with frequency of 50Hz or 60Hz.

2. The S11 series is applicable for 6KV and 10KV transmission and distribution systems. Compared with S9, this product possesses lowered no-load loss and better energy saving result. Moreover, the noise level conforms to environmental protection policy. Thus, the S11 series hermetically sealed oil-immersed distribution transformer could be called an energy saving and environmental friendly product.

3. The S13 series is based on the three dimensional triangular wound core, and remarkable energy saving performance is obtained. When compared with S11, the S13 series further improves its behavior. For example, the no-load loss is reduced by 25%, the no-load current is cut down by 60%-80%, and the noise level is lowered by as much as 30%-40%. Due to the low loss, low noise, attractive appearance, good performance, maintenance free and long life span, this device is truly a high technology, high performance, energy saving and environmental friendly product.

Applications
Depending on the different properties and technical data, the three series of hermetically sealed oil-immersed distribution transformer could be used in various places.
The S9 series is commonly accepted for lighting and powering purposes in residential areas, business streets, rural places, industrial and mining enterprises, etc.
The S11 series is suitable for factories, mining plants, agricultural and petrochemical engineering industries to power lighting lamps and production equipment.
The S13 series is usually used in 10KV power distribution systems.
